When a swimmer's on a roll, he's on a roll: the morning after a 59.78 100m breaststroke the night before, Hugues Duboscq (FRA) cracked the European Championship record in the 200m breaststroke heats with a 2:10.72.
Not bad from a 26-year-old whose best time was 2:13.57 from 2006. The French record had stood at 2:11.77 to Yohan Bernard since 2002.
More later from a cold, wet, drizzly day in Eindhoven.
