Glen Tasker, Australian Swimming chief executive, is leaving the sport after less than seven years in the top aquatics admin job Down Under to take up the role of chief executive officer of Tennis New South Wales.

Tasker is reported to be leaving his current Canberra-based job to allow his family to return to Sydney. He departed with a vote of confidence in Alan Thompson, head coach to the Dolphins, telling ABC: 'He not only plans everything, he executes everything. They (the Australian team) have done a meticulous job with the orientation camp which we've already had. Our staging camp will be in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Everything's already prepared for that, I think even down to the luggage tags.'

We assume Glen knows his rackets from his LZRs, and wish him well.
