Indianapolis has been selected as the host city for the 2000 Olympic Swimming Trials, which will take place on Aug. 9 - 15.

The Swimming Trials will take place at the Indiana University Natatorium, which hosted the 1984, 1992 and 1996 trials.

Indianapolis was selected over Federal Way, Washington, and Long Island, N.Y.
