Keri-Leigh Shaw has tested positive for the substances Clenbuterol (Class S.1.2 Other Anabolic Agents) and Ephedrine (Class S.6 Stimulants)

A statement from Swimming South African :

Durban, Wednesday, 2 April 2008 ? Swimming South Africa has been informed that during the FINA Swimming World Cup held in Belo Horizonte (BRA) on 25 November 2007, swimmer Keri-Leigh Shaw [has been, sic] tested positive for the substances Clenbuterol (Class S.1.2 Other Anabolic Agents) and Ephedrine (Class S.6 Stimulants).

The FINA Executive decided, as per FINA Rule DC 7.1.12, to provisionally suspend Ms. Keri-Leigh Shaw from the 1st April 2008 until a hearing before the FINA Doping Panel can be made following the analysis of the B-sample.
